Bright and Patriotic Birthday

I have a niece and a nephew that have birthdays one day apart in July. I always try to make them patriotic looking cards and they seem to enjoy them. This first card I found at Splitcoaststampers. I cased it pretty much how it was. just changed the sentiment and bow. I really like the pink added into the red, white and blue for a little feminine touch. I will post the second one very soon.
Here are the measurements.
Card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 to make the card
Not Quite Navy piece 1 1/4 x 5 1/4
Whisper White 2 3/4 x 5, dsp 2 1/2 x 4 3/4
NQN matt behind HB panel 1 1/2 x 1 3/4
I used Printed Petals and Elementary Elegance stamp sets. Real Red ink and dsp. Blushing Bride is the pink

Stamping 411 Saturday Sketch Challenge 260

Time for another Stamping 411 Saturday sketch challenge. Head on over there and see what's going on. They have a great sketch where you can play along too. They give the measurements to start you off with and you decide on color and content. It helps so much putting a card together, you are not staring at a blank piece of card stock wondering where to start. This card looks like summer to me.
Leave me a message if you like what you see and thanks for stopping by.

Stamping 411 challenge 209

Here is another stamping 411 challenge. This one was harder for me than the others I have done but I'm glad I stuck with it. I think it turned out okay. I got to use several new (to me) items on this one. The Printed Petals and the Flower Garden embossing folders.
I cut all my pieces of card stock then ran them through the Big Shot with the respective ef and then sponged the image with like ink to make it stand out a little bit more.
Supplies:
Stamps: Printed Petals
Ink:Pretty in Pink, Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
Tools: 2 3/8" scallop circle punch, Scallop circle punch, Itty Bitty Shape punch pak, Framed Tulips ef, Flower Garden ef, petals a plenty ef
I hope you give Stamping 411 sketch challenge a try and thanks for stopping by At Paula's Place

Just One More Printed Petals

Okay, this is the last card I am posting using the Printed Petals stamp set. But I had to show you. These are so great. I love the set and this one with the stamped images then dry embossed through the Big Shot machine and the Square Lattice embossing folder is so pretty. Also the dsp has been run through and got it's embossing on too.  Notice the build a brad detail along with the little tag. And the richness of Soft Suede, and Crumb Cake and then the pop of Tempting Turquiose  is stunning.
So get this set while it's on special, there is only a couple of days left before it goes back to regular price. Then you can make all these beautiful cards too.
There's a lot more on sale too. Check it out
Email me with an order and I would love to take care of you. Thanks for stopping by At Paula's Place.
