Luminaria

Hi everyone. This is the luminaria we made in our January class. This one is so easy that the hardest thing about it is to find the electric battery operated tea light that you'll want to put inside of it. I gave each of my attendees one just for coming to my class. Here is what we did.
  1. Take a piece of real red card stock 3" x 10 1/4". Score at 2 1/2, 5, 7 1/2 and 10". This will leave a 1/4" tab. Fold and crease all score lines.
  2. Take the heart to heart punch and insert your card stock all the way into the punch and center it in each of the rectangles you created when you folded it. So you will punch four times.
  3. Take 4 pieces of 2 3/4" x 2 1/2" vellum and adhere to the inside of each panel.
  4. Glue the tab to the other end of the strip forming the four sides.
That's it. This can be done with any extra large punch that Stampin' Up has to offer. It works well with the snowflake punch, star punch, full heart punch.

Jan 6 Class

Hey finally, here is what we are making at the class Jan 6. It's a calendar for your desk and a luminaria for a special spot with a valentine theme. Also we are going to learn how to make acordian flowers two different ways and there will be another project which I plan on being a Valentine card. The cost, only $10 or a $25 order. The reason the order amount is so low is because Sale A Bration starts at the end of the month and I want you to save your money for then in order to get as many free items as you can possible get.

Please RSVP to me as soon as possible if you can make it. I have to prepare for you.
Thanks for stopping by At Paula's Place.
