Challenge 255 A Day in the Park

You take a sketch and add card stock and designer series paper, a little stamping and a card comes together, right? Well, usually but this one was really difficult. It seemed to me there was one too many elements on the card and the measurements weren't working out right, I'm not totally thrilled with the results but I will give it to someone, I do like the stamped image panel and the pops of color. Okay, it's all right. I guess they can't all come together easy peasy.
This is what I did. I stamped each tree in it's own color but first I inked the stamps with Versa mark then the color so I heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I masked the top area and sponged the grass. I punched out a oval scallop and used that against the sky to form clouds and sponged the sky. Rounded the corners. Then mounted this piece onto cs with dimensionals.  Cut 2 2" squares of  dsp and used the scallop trim border punch on them. Then backed them with Calypso Coral cs. Embossed the card base with the Finial Press ef and added a piece of dsp along the bottom. Put it all together. Added the bow, butterflies with basic rhinestones and I am finished.
Supplies:
Stamps: Trendy Trees
Paper: Always Artichoke, Marina Mist, Whisper White, Paisley Petals dsp, Calypso Coral
Ink: Versamark, Garden Green, Wild Wasabi, Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip, Early Espresso, Bashful Blue
Tools: Scallop Trim border punch, Beautiful Wings Embosslits die, Corner Rounder, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Marina Mist 1/4" grossgain ribbon, basic rhinestones, sponges, Scallop oval punch, dimensionals

I struggled too with this sketch, but I think you did an amazing job. Sketches sometimes help us fit the pieces together, and other times stretch our comfortable place. Your focal point is a true work of art with your that is so easy to be seen with your awesome photography. The lighting of your piece is just right.. i dig it!
