Today I have a monocromatic card for you. I made two of these and sent them to two of my friends for their birthdays recently. They both seeemed to enjoy them.
It seems that these days I rarely make a card not using the Big Shot die cutting machine. It adds so much to any project with so little effort that it's hard to pass up.
- I used Pale Plum card stock on this one (retired) and ran a piece of 4" X 5 1/4" through the Big shot using the Elegant Bouquet Embossing folder. Adhered it to the front of the card.
- Then I stamped the Pocket Silhouette on a piece of scrap whisper white card stock and punched it out with the Curly Label punch.
- I also punched out an area on the card front with the Curly Label punch and then adhered the white to the inner card exactly through the punched out area.
- I put happy and birthday from Fabulous Phrases on one clear block and dipped it in Perfect Plum. Stamped right on top of the Silhouette
- Added the white satin ribbon
I am working on a project right now that I will share with you when I have completed it and I have to say that it is my biggest most involved project that I have ever done and I am thrilled beyond belief with it so far. Here is a little sneak peek.
I can't wait to show it to you, so that spurs me on to complete it. You can probably recognize the Bigz clear flower die cuts but that's all I'm going to say for right now. If you would like to place an order for anything you have seen here, have any questions please email me and I'd be happy to help you. Thanks for stopping by At Paula's Place and stop by again real soon.
